Hi there! My name is Mellissa Gao. I am currently designing furniture and houseware products at Seville Classics. Always curious about human behavior and emotions, I studied psychology and cognitive science as an undergrad. My passion for applying my psychology knowledge in everyday life has led me to to the world of industrial & product design. My goal is to make good design accessible and affordable to the largest number of people possible.
In my free time, you’ll catch me reading Haruki Murakami, paddle boarding at Marina Del Rey, running in Kenneth Hahn, or chilling with friends over street tacos and boba :D
